Soft Collection Agent

Responsibilities
• Carry out a number of calls with customers via telephone advising of outstanding payments in arrears
• Offer customer assistance and alternatives on how to manage the debt
• Follow up with customer’s payment status and re-negotiate if necessary
• Be responsible for managing assigned portfolio
• Accurately update the system on the current status of a customer

Qualifications and Skills
• Secondary school degree, university degree would be considered an advantage
• Knowledge of English language
• Computer literate and good typing skills
• Confident and assertive telephone manners
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Positive and pro-active attitude
• Target driven
