Food &Beverage Area Supervisor, salary $ 1500


Role: The F&B Area Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the F&B outlets through efficient and effective implementation of the F&B business plan and park policies and guidelines and by leading, motivating, and directing diverse team of staff in a variety of operational responsibilities..

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leading the team of F&B operators in promoting and selling F&B products and offerings.
  • Managing and securing cash sales transactions and ensuring remittance to Cash Control office according to set schedule.
  • Counting money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change fund.
  • Preparing staff schedules, which allow for appropriate service while controlling overtime.
  • Training, supervising and disciplining all F&B outlet staff.
  • Assisting the F&B Manager in controlling standards, performance, staff conduct, dress code, appearance, sanitation, etc., according to established policies.
  • Ensuring the correct and consistent service techniques for various F&B offerings.
  • Ensuring appropriate stock levels throughout F&B locations.
  • Informs and orders inventory/stock from the kitchen.
  • Controlling usage of all food and beverage items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools and service equipment.
  • Observing daily conditions of all physical facilities and equipment in the outlets; makes recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
  • Working in co-operation with the Chef to see that items below standard are never accepted or served.
  • Always informed of special events such as Ramadan, Eid, etc.
  • Promoting good public relations and handle complaints or concerns of guests.
  • Handling inventories directly involved with the operation of the outlet.
  • Assisting in the performance of other special duties and projects as needed in support of organizational goals.
  • Motivating and leading a team of Food and Beverage staff who are responsible for dispatching the rides in a fun, but safe and clean environment.
  • Performance managing the staff, coaching/correcting behaviors and issuing disciplinary action as necessary.


Required Education and Experience:

  • High school graduate. Diploma/ Certification in Food Safety/Handling.
  • Knowledge in food handling, cashiering and guest services.
  • At least 2 years work experience in food handling, cashiering and guest services preferably in retail/leisure/travel/tourism/ hotel/hospitality industry.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, effectively manage time and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
  • Technical ability and knowledge of POS, computer and kitchen equipment.
  • English language proficiency.
