Head of Creative Teachers, salary $ 1500
Role: The Head of Creative Teacher is responsible for managing the team of creative teachers and guiding various creative/craft workshops to guest children based on the designed educational programs and events.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead in the development and evaluation of all curricula.
- Conduct research and consult with project managers/owners and operations in the design and development of new curriculum.
- Coordinate the review/assessment of current curriculum to ensure that course/program is meeting intended objectives and requirements.
- Prepare instructional material for printing and develop outlines with the necessary basic detail to direct instruction.
- Identify creative teachers on topic, and develop activities that will train creative teachers content.
- Identify and lead a team of creative teachers who will assist in curriculum development.
- Conceptualizing Juniverse and Angry Birds modules suit the target market.
- Creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for all children.
- Motivating and encouraging children the opportunity to express themselves through art.
- Maintaining inventory of supplies. Responsible for ordering supplies and having equipment ready and functioning on a daily basis.
- Ensuring clean and organized of the arts & crafts area.
- Ensuring a safe and healthy workshop environment for each child and staff
- Assisting in the performance of other special duties and projects as needed in support of organizational goals.
- Performance managing the staff, coaching/correcting behaviors and issuing disciplinary action as necessary.
- Implement life & work balance and staff scheduling
Required Education and Experience:
- Degree in Teaching or similar discipline.
- Knowledge of current techniques and procedures used in the design and development of curriculum.
- Facilitating and organizing children’s activities.
- Ability to mentor and train creative teachers, ability to hold high standards while also offering support and maintaining positive relationships.
- Edutainment and creative classes.
- Experience in the amusement and attractions industry is preferred.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, effectively manage time and meet targets deadlines with limited supervision.
- English language proficiency.
