Technical Events Specialist, salary $ 1500
Role: The Technical Events Specialist is responsible for the efficient and safe setup of all technical equipment requirements for all entertainment shows and events.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinating with the Head of Stage Artists in designing and developing of the architectural, show and area development lighting and sound systems.
- Establishing quantitative requirements and specifications based on interpreting creative intent for lighting and sound systems.
- Producing scopes of work and manage their progress from design through installation.
- Organizing, leading and participating in multi-system control specifications
- Leading production reviews at vendor locations ensuring product quality, specification conformance, and schedule accuracy
- Supervising installation, testing and adjustment of lighting and sound systems to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
- Assisting in the performance of other special duties and projects as needed in support of organizational goals.
- Performance managing the staff, coaching/correcting behaviors and issuing disciplinary action as necessary.
- Implement life & work balance and staff scheduling
Required Education and Experience:
- High School or any relevant course
- High-level knowledge lighting design and sound development
- Excellent knowledge on in-field installation.
- Knowledge and certification on Rigger
- Knowledge on amusement and theme park entertainment and events is preferred.
- 4-5 years of experience in a similar field.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, effectively manage time and meet targets deadlines with limited supervision.
- English language proficiency.
