Barista in Doha, Qatar ( M/F )


Job Summary:

The barista is responsible for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention towards each customer. He/she is also responsible for educating customers about our premium coffees and preparation methods . The barista fulfills any other duties the store manager, assistant manager or shift supervisor assigns and represents Luminous Espresso Industry in a professional manner

Responsibilities

Product:

· Ensures that all customers are educated on our products and services.

· Maintains the highest quality, consistent product standards.

· Follows all Company drink recipes and procedures.

· Passes monthly re-certifications in a timely manner.

· Develops an understanding of coffee regions and the various differences in flavor and blends

· Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes, implementing changes, maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar

· Proficiently prepares blended and cold drinks provided by the store.


Service:

· Greets all customers with fast, friendly, personalized service and develops a rapport with customers by learning their names, favorite drinks and food items.
· Sells coffees and coffee grinding and brewing equipment by explaining differences in coffee beans and coffee preparation methods demonstrating how brewing equipment operates.
· Verbally receives and calls back customer orders in a friendly manner.
· Reports all customer complaints to manager or supervisor
· Responds proactively to prevent customer service situations.
· Accurately rings sales orders into cash register and counts back change to customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
· Answers telephone in a courteous and friendly manner including, but not limited to, giving store greeting, directions to store location, and receiving and filling customer orders.
· Answers customer questions regarding coffee blends, preparation, and product freshness.
· Weighs, grinds and packs coffee per customers’ orders according to Company guidelines.
· Sells and serves baked goods and miscellaneous food items to customers.
· Maintains efficient, friendly service.

Environment:

· Restocks shelves when necessary.
· Routinely cleans the bar area, floor, windows and grinders, and takes out trash, etc.
· Assists in the distribution of weekly shipments.
· Reports potential safety hazards to the manager on duty.
· Reports all employee accidents to the manager on duty.
· Informs the manager on duty of any operational inconsis

Requirements
1. Maintains positive Company morale and professional attitude.
2. Must be able to work overtime, as needed.
3. Excellent verbal and written skills.
4. Well-organized and detail-oriented.
5. Regularly required to stand, walk, talk and hear.


The company provides:
· 1 ticket per year from Tirana to Doha and form Doha to Tirana.
· Shared Accommodation
· Total cover of Qatari visa expenses
· Total cover of yearly Qatari health insurance.
· 1 meal per day will be provided on the workplace

Leave & Ticket:
During the first year of employment, he can avail of sick leave but no paid leave will be permissible before the completion of 12 months. Entitled toa normal yearly paid leave not less than to 21 days. The schedule of vacation may be advanced / postponed to suit the company’s operational requirements. Entitled to return tickets to home country as per passport for self only, once every year post completion of 12 months of employment.
