Shift Supervisor & Cashierin Doha, Qatar ( F )


Job Summary:
The shift supervisor is responsible for assisting the store manager in maintaining a positive environment, which provides fast, efficient, and friendly service ensuring a Total Quality Experience for both our customers and team members. Shift supervisors assist in training, customer service, product knowledge and education, encouraging safe work practices, and a demonstrated commitment to our Guiding Principles and House Rules. This position directly supervisesthe barista and waiter positions and acts as the manager on duty in the absence of the store and/or assistant manag

Responsibilities

1. Maintains a clean, organized and stocked environment and when necessary assists in the distribution of product shipments.
2. Performs all POS duties, front and back of house functions including opening and closing procedures, coordinating with the Corporate Office as necessary.
3. Answers telephone in a courteous and friendly manner including, but not limited to, giving store greeting, directions to store location, and receiving and filling customer orders.
4. Establishes effective and positive communication amongst all team members.
5. Assists store manager in maintaining proper coverage and team member schedules ensuring that the store maintains customer service standards and team members adhere to meal and break policy.
6. Ensures all cash handling procedures are upheld. Is accountable for store funds while running a shift.
7. Assists store managerand assistant manager in planning and executing all sales promotions effectively and efficiently.
8. Will provide guidance and actively set an example for team members, ensuring that all Standard Operating Procedures are maintained and followed.
9. Follows and directs team members to follow store policies, procedures and adhere to merchandising and cleanliness standards.
10. Promotes and practices safe work habits, reporting potential safety hazards, operational inconsistencies and team member incidents to the store manager.
11. Reports/documents team member accidents, conducts initial investigation and determinations of root cause in the interest of maintaining a safe work environment.

Requirements

1. Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum one year of retail or six months of specialty coffee experience.
3. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
4. Basic computer skills required.
5. Must be able to work overtime, including weekends, evenings and special events as needed.
6. Well organized and detail oriented and able to multitask.
7. Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills

The company provides:
· 1 ticket per year from Tirana to Doha and form Doha to Tirana.
· Shared Accommodation
· Total cover of Qatari visa expenses
· Total cover of yearly Qatari health insurance.
· 1 meal per day will be provided on the workplace

Leave & Ticket: During the first year of employment, he can avail of sick leave but no paid leave will be permissible before the completion of 12 months. Entitled toa normal yearly paid leave not less than to 21 days. The schedule of vacation may be advanced / postponed to suit the company’s operational requirements. Entitled to return tickets to home country as per passport for self only, once every year post completion of 12 months of employment.
