Role objective

Serves customers at the cash desk in a timely and efficient manner, ensures the accuracy and security of the transactions and promotes the Bank’s products and services when appropriate, aiming at the provision of high quality services.


Duties/Responsibilities

Processes cash and cheques for deposits or withdrawals to or from accounts held at the Bank, in accordance with policies and procedures of the Bank relating to customer identity verification, authorization limits and compliance; ensures collection of any relevant fees and enters relevant transactions into the Bank’s system records.
Accepts payments, including payments for loans/cards, cash and electronic payments to third parties, in accordance with policies and procedures of the Bank
Maintains, throughout the day, the cash limits of her/his till and looks after its proper administration by matching cash and vouchers.
Keeps abreast regarding new products and services launched by the Bank
Services may include account status information/ statements, deposits, withdrawals, payments and foreign exchange.
This role has no business planning / decision making authority.

Requirements

High School degree. University degree is considered as advantage.

Basic knowledge of English Language.
Work Experience not required.
General knowledge of banking operations, PC Literacy as well as specialized training and professional qualifications / certificates required according to the local regulatory framework.
