Overall job definition :
The Early Workout unit is established within the Workout Department for the purpose of maximizing the recoveries of the SE & Corporate Portfolio, for both RBAL /RLAL. Early Workout unit should be expert in restructuring the deals or effectively move them to the Late Workout.
Main responsibilities :
- Minimize exposure/risk on own portfolio and maximize recovery.
- Perform mandatory actions on case with maximum speed.
- Conduct client review
- Develop strategy to support client through difficulties/reorganize business relationship (incl. calculation of business plan)
- Evaluate credibility of client’s restructuring plan
- Propose strategy (detailed into intervention plan) to decision body
- Lead the relationship with clients on behalf of the bank
- Execute approved strategy incl. decision on any operational activities within approved strategy, i.e. execute any steps/actions leading to bank's loss minimization
- Call for consultation from internal resources; external by approval of Head of workout
- Monitor/ report client situation
- Report any corruption attempts
- Administers the process of preparing the documentation for PLC / decision making authorities.
- Maintain contact with related roles within the Bank and collaborate closely with them to optimize the process.
- Participates at seminars, workshops, conferences and meetings related with his/her duties on request or suggested by HR.
- Assists upon request all audit teams internal / external.
- Fulfills the other duties assigned by superiors.
Competencies / Skills :
- University degree in Economic field
- Previous experience in SE Workout or relevant fields , preferably min 5 years
- Detailed knowledge of options for restructuring solutions is a must, while knowledge on the execution procedures and /or bankruptcy would be an advantage.
- Very good analytical and financial skills – ability to develop/ adjust simple models
- Ability to participate in difficult negotiations
- Strong time management skills for processing and managing multiple cases in parallel
- Very strong negotiation & communication skills.
- Knowledge of bank’s systems
- High ethical standards
- Very good knowledge of English language
