SALES ENGINEER

For our client, one of the biggest producers worldwide of electrical materials operating currently in Albania & Kosovo through their Representative Office, we are seeking for an energetic commercial engineer in the key role of Sales Engineer.

Job Summary:
This position will do outside sales to new and existing customers; identifying further their needs, engineering adaptations of products, equipment and services.
Will Report to Project Supervisor.

Responsibilities:
  • Will maintain relationships with existing customers and work as a team player with the members of management and the entire sales team.
  • Create system solutions for the customer’s problems, including financial and performance-based solutions.
  • Identifies key customers and develops specific action plans to grow those accounts.
  • Is thoroughly knowledgeable of customer needs and current market opportunities.
  • Converts leads into opportunities by identifying the appropriate sales course of action, assembling the required team members and leading the steps in the sale process.
  • Develops relationships with buying influences within the customer’s organization which may include the facility manager, project managers or purchasing agent.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering (Electrical), with 3-5 years work experience in the local sales market.
  • Strong technical and commercial acumen. Previous experience in project sales, proactive procurement is an advantage.
  • Very Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software such as Excel, Word, graphic design (AutoCAD) etc.
  • Very good English
  • Ability to establish excellent rapport with customer engineers, senior management as well as purchasing managers.
  • Strong communication skills and efficient work habits are a must
  • Results oriented with the ability to balance other customer needs and company targets
