Training & Development Manager


Our client operates successfully in the services (non-banking) sector and holds an important position in Albanian market. The client has an immediate opening for a Training & Development Manager in Tirana.

Job Role:
Your work will include designing and managing training and development programmes based on the needs of the organization, product development and the individual thought leadership. This will also include training assessments and evaluations, and climate surveys that result in core training and development of key business strategies that drive performance outcomes.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage the company’s overall Training and Development function by being a hands-on leader developing and implementing an approved annual training schedule while providing the training resources to obtain the T&D objectives
  • Consult with management to assess and prioritize training and development needs, develop training or interventions to meet organizational objectives and expand the company’s portfolio of offerings and services.
  • Collaborate with HR team on enterprise-wide organizational development initiatives, such as leadership development, performance management and culture development.
  • Develop training consistent with instructional design standards, adult training theory, knowledge of the target audience and sound project management skills.
  • Develop and coordinate program materials for learners and instructors required to deliver high quality training.
  • Facilitate and/or produce creative and engaging in- house or virtual training events.
  • Assess cost-benefit analysis of internal vs. external training options and collaborate with suppliers to meet quality and timeliness requirements.
  • Develop, standardize, and implement the company’s training and development processes and procedures
  • Includes new strategic initiatives and/or closing identified performance gaps
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the company, market, products, and industry to design and implement effective training programs across all levels
  • Maintain annual training plan/calendar ensuring training courses are scheduled and delivered on-time and effectively
  • Develop and deliver on-the-job training program for new hires
  • Provide analysis and metrics on the effectiveness of training & development initiatives and measure ROI of training programs

Requirements:
  • University Degree in Business/ Social Sciences/ Human Resources, or other related discipline is preferred
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in training and development (preferably with international companies) /two years in a supervisory position
  • English fluent, Very good knowledge of Italian Language is an advantage
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills – Excel, PowerPoint etc
  • Excellent verbal skills and charming communication
  • Demonstrated negotiation and presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills and experience
  • Understanding of adult training principles
  • Ability to relate to staff at all levels and to encourage and motivate people
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to plan ahead and manage individual and team’s time
  • Ability to write reports, keep records and work within planned budgets
  • Deep knowledge of human resources
