Medical Representative ( Senior/ Junior)


Our client, a rapidly growing & innovative pharmaceutical manufacturer is currently expanding their team in Albania. On behalf of them, we are looking for motivated MedRep to represent ground breaking products in their interesting industry. It's a very exciting opportunity as the industry and salary are both very good. This is not a company that micromanages you. We're looking for MedReps that are looking for an excellent culture and who are self-motivated.

As a Med Rep for this pharma company you will be responsible for the overall management of the following:
  • developing strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sector as per respective coverage areas
  • arranging appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling
  • Making presentations to doctors, hospital doctors and pharmacists in the retail sector
  • building and maintaining positive working relationships with medical staff and supporting administrative staff
  • keeping detailed records of all contacts
  • reaching (and if possible exceeding) annual sales targets
  • keeping up to date with the latest clinical data supplied by the company, and interpreting presenting and discussing this data with health professionals during presentations
  • monitoring competitor activity and competitors' products
  • maintaining knowledge of new developments in the National Health Service (NHS), anticipating potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapting strategy accordingly
  • planning work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables. This may involve working with the area sales team or discussing future targets with the area sales manager. Generally, medical sales representatives have their own regional area of responsibility and plan how and when to target health professionsregularly attending company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings
  • staying informed about the activities of health services in a particular area.
REQUIREMENTS
  • University degree in Medicine/ Pharma/ Chemistry or related
  • 1 year of previous experience on the position of Medical Representative with a proven success
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Very good command of MS Office
  • Ability to comprehend complex products of a scientific nature, as well as mastering technical knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to engage, influence and support customers throughout the selling process
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal influencing and leadership skills
  • Active driver and willingness to travel frequently
