COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER


Terre des hommes is seeking to recruit a Communications Officer to design and implement a country communication strategy to support effective project implementation

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Draft and lead the country communication strategy based on Terres des hommes guidelines
- Develop and disseminate high quality communication and media materials which support realization of project objectives which are approved by the head of mission
- Provide technical expertise to project implementation team in using communications and media tools in child protection activities
- Develop and maintain strong external relations internally within the organization and externally with a diverse range of national and international stakeholders, media and partners to maintain them informed of progress of Tdh work in the field

Qualifications and experiences
- Masters Degree in Communications, Media, Journalism or other relevant subject
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior communications or media related role
- Experience of using a wide range of media including social media and latest technology
- Excellent writing skills and knowledge of communication good practices
- Good knowledge and understanding of the child protection related issues and more broadly awareness of the social problematic in Albania

Proficiency in Albanian and English language is an absolute requirement



The titular will conduct his/ her duties in respect to Child Protection and Child Safeguarding Policies of Terres des hommes.
