Job Summary
Responsible for the operation of company’s IT infrastructure. Encompasses the monitoring, control, and reporting of operational aspects of IT infrastructure: Operational aspects of the infrastructure include faults, configuration, resource utilization, performance, maintenance, and security.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Operations and maintenance of all computing and printing infrastructure.
- Operations and maintenance of Billing and mediation applications and systems for all Tring Services
- Operations and maintenance of Value Added new world IP infrastructure and services
- Operations and maintenance of all Intranet/Extranet services
- Operations and maintenance of all data security infrastructure, policies and services
- Operations and maintenance of all applications, computing infrastructure and services related to internal support systems
- Operations and maintenance of infrastructure, applications and platforms for Service Level Management of all Tring services.
- The research and development of new services, and IT related technologies in accordance to the IT mission, of reducing the operational expenses, and increasing company’s productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- The installation, operations and maintenance of all computing equipment, (software and hardware)
- Establishes/recommends policies on system use and services.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting critical services for servers
- Administration and maintenance for server applications such as file sharing, mail, ftp etc for company
- Developing new solution for information management
- Preparing documentation and user guide tutorials for new applications needed for company staff and/or customers
- Preparing and applying backup and disaster recovery procedures for servers and PC’s.
- Evaluating technical requirements for new company projects
- Update operational log and CMDB files as per company policy

Educational Background: University degree in Telecommunications Engineering or relevant area. Post–graduate degree recommended
Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Telecommunications, 3 of which in similar managerial position
Skills and Ability:
Technical
§ In-depth knowledge of cabling systems (including fiber and copper) design and architecture with an underlying understanding of the integration on new xDSL and Fiber equipment.
§ Understanding of Complex routing
§ A solid understanding of a UNIX-based operating systems;
§ Broad and deep knowledge of facilities management (including air, power, network and monitoring), and transmission infrastructure (hardware, software, etc) project management, cabling and wireless operations.
§ Aptitude for learning new technical skills quickly.
Managerial

§ Strong analytical, planning, project management, supervision, team building, and problem solving abilities.
§ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and activities within time, budget and technical constraints.

§ Manage IT security Policies.
§ Ability to analyze work processes and procedures for improvement opportunities.
§ Experience in technical project management, including developing and managing technical project timelines, and prioritizing and assigning project tasks, and assessing progress.

§ Fluent in English
