A vacancy has arisen in the Tdh Mission in Albania for Communications and IT Support Officer in Tirana.
GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
The Communications and IT Support Officer (part-time position), based in Tirana, will be responsible for the smooth running of the computer hardware and software systems of Terre des hommes offices, ensuring users get maximum benefits from them.
Daily responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Work to improve the structure and efficiency of Tdh’s IT systems
Install and configure computer applications, troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose hardware/software faults, solve technical and applications problems, either over the phone/Skype or in person.
Develop and maintain websites and databases used by Tdh
Provide advice and assistance to all Tdh staff and related partners in the use of information and communication technologies
Set-up, manage and maintain user accounts, profiles, Google calendar, etc.
Maintain and update Tdh contacts database
Contribute to the production of all Tdh communication materials by assessing visual aspects, such as typeface, color, position and formatting.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
University degree in the field of Information Technology/Communications or equivalent is desirable;
Work experience of having served at least 2-3 years as an IT administrator.
Excellent knowledge of computer software applications, including Microsoft and Open Office, Databases, Web/Internet based applications, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Publisher
Computer design and layout skills for producing communication materials
Knowledge of English language is desirable;
Autonomous, self-motivated and good communication skills;
