Job Position: Sales Agent
Department: Sales
Reports to: Sales Supervisor
Working Place: Rinas, Tirana
Job Summary:
Airline sales agent (reservation agents) issue tickets make reservations and provide related customer services. Assist passengers who have special needs or special services requests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide information over the phone, electronically or in person regarding routes and schedules.
2. Process passenger flight reservations and issue tickets
3. Provide related customer services for airline passengers.
4. Welcoming and assisting clients in a professional, yet friendly and polite manner
5. Confer with customer to determine their service requirements and travel preferences.
6. Inform clients of essential travel information, such as travel times, transportation connections and medical and visa requirements.
7. Inform customer on reservation confirmation and/or travel conveyance changes
8. Promote particular destinations, tour packages and other travel services
9. Make and confirm reservations for transportation and accommodations
10. Assist passengers who have special needs like extra baggage or special services requests.
11. Keep accurate customer records and inform passengers via phone for any changes occurring to their scheduled flight.
12. Keep good relations with customers.
Skills and Qualifications:
University degree in Economic/Tourism or related studies.
Professional courses in travel and tourism are considered assets.
At least 1 year of working experience in sales with direct contact with the customer.
Ability to work in shifts and with rotating days off
Strong command of English and Italian
A well-groomed and friendly appearance it is imperative for this job position
Outstanding customer service skills.
Friendly and cheerful personality.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain tactful and courteous at all times
ยท Keyboarding and computer skills.
Knowledge of Galileo and/or Amadeus is an asset
Good excel skills.
