Head of Stage Artists, salary $ 1900


Role:The Stage Planner/Artists Specialist is responsible on planning and arranging artists’ schedules, contracting and communicating an all other artistic elements to ensure smooth and efficient show/event.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Determining the schedule of all rehearsals and performances in coordination with the Producer/Developer and making that sure everyone involved is notified of rehearsals and performances times, meetings, costume/wig fittings and coaching sessions.
• Performing the following functions during rehearsals:

- Making sure rehearsal props and furnishings are available for the actors

- Coordinating the work of the stage crew during the stage set up.

- Notifying the decorators and other involved staff of changes made in rehearsal.

• Communicating and securing performance of Sound and Light Ops during rehearsals and performances.
• Ensuring smooth show production by monitoring the completion of the script and show checklists.
• Calling cues and possibly actors' entrances during performance.
• Checking on the impact of the show on the audience and communicating feedback and inputs to the Producer/Developer.
• Assisting in the performance of other special duties and projects as needed in support of organizational goals..
• Performance managing the staff, coaching/correcting behaviors and issuing disciplinary action as necessary.
• Implement life & work balance and staff scheduling

Required Education and Experience:

• Degree in Theatre Arts or similar discipline.
• Stage and artists management
• Knowledge on amusement and theme park entertainment and events is preferred.
• 4-5 years of experience in a similar field.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, effectively manage time and meet targets deadlines with limited supervision.
• Ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Good knowledge, with experience in using Microsoft Office.
• English language proficiency.
• Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate confidently, effectively and diplomatically.
