Purchasing Coordinator



Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Department
Responsible for all the purchasing activities in Mercator-A as a part of the Commercial Team



· constantly searching for the new suppliers with the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible purchase cost;



· leading in establishing contacts with local & foreign suppliers, selecting products for our retail chain, negotiating prices, closing the contracts, resolving complaints and working with our partners on every day basis to establish mutually beneficial relationships and improve their ability to provide quality while minimizing the stock;



· maintaining purchasing database, filing &keeping all the records of suppliers’ data, price lists, contracts and other documentation;



· generating reports on the requested data;



· constantly developing the expertise, analyzing the sales and seeking to improve assortment, margin and selling price of the products offered to our customers;



· constantly researching market conditions, prices, latest trends and consumer buying patterns, maintaining knowledge of company competitors & their offerings;



· participating in developing and implementing sales promotion programs in coordination with Marketing Department;



· assisting in developing and implementing company’s policies & procedures while complying with the local legislation



· Performing additional tasks or duties as assigned.



· Maintains a proper dress code and pleasant personality as well as good personal hygiene at all times;



· Complies with the values, mission & internal procedures of the company



Personal Requirements:




* Education: bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economics or other related field;
* Previous experience:


3-5 year experience in the position of the same or similar responsibilities;
Excellent negotiation, communication and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work independently & good organization skills
Enthusiasm & initiative in constant developing & improving of the purchasing activities
Advanced skills in all Microsoft Application : Knowledge of Finance 5 and any purchasing software is an advantage.


* Languages: fluent written and spoken English & Albanian language, other languages are an advantage;
*Computer skills: very good knowledge of Microsoft Office package, ability in preparing reports & presentations;
* Driving License: category B;
* Other interpersonal skills:
- excellent listening & presentation skills;
- excellent negotiation & conflict resolution skills;
- excellent leadership skills & ability to build a strong professional team;
- strong organization & time-management skills, very good at multitasking;
- customer service and solution orientated;
- resourceful, innovative & confident in decision-making;
