MERCATOR-A is looking for Non Food Manager in its Head Office, Tirana.
MERCATOR-ALBANIA is part of MERCATOR GROUP, Southeastern Europe’s leading retail chain in fast moving consumer goods opened in Albania in 2009. At the present moment the Company is operating with more than 120 employees and 5 stores in Tirana & Durres and we are planning to expand our activities even further opening new stores of different formats and in different locations.

NON FOOD MANAGER
Key responsibilities:
· To manages the Non Food Department in order to maximize profit while minimizing costs according to the company’s targets, policies & mission.
· Managing the human and financial resources of the Non Food department and ensuring that the department objectives are achieved.
· Manages stock levels and makes necessary decisions about stock control;
· Forecasts product demand and place orders to meet demand well in advance;
· Checks received stock against invoices.
· Ensures that the merchandise and goods are displayed in store to their best & are fully satisfying the needs of the customers.
· Maintains rotation of the stock at all times ensuring highest quality & freshness of all products.
· Handles damages and spoiled products according to company policies and procedures.
· Conducts inventories as per company’s policy schedule & conducts physical inventories on regular basis.
The successful applicant will have:
Education : University diploma;
Previous experience :
- over 3 years of previous relevant experience as a head of department;
- very good knowledge and understanding of the purchasing business, the Albanian market, local suppliers, price level and trends for given categories of articles;
- previous experience of managing a reasonable number of employees in the department;
- previous experience in preparing reports and analysis related to the commercial area;
