Head of Corporate Banking
Our client, an international banking group operating successfully in Albania for many years, invites interested candidates to apply for the Head of Corporate Banking vacancy.
The Role
Head of Corporate Banking will be responsible for developing the existing and expanding new client relationship in the medium to large business segment, in order to ensure that high levels of customer care are maintained. Reporting to Chief Executive, this role has direct responsibility for its lending budget, while assisting the company achieve competitive advantage through the maintenance and implementation of sound risk management initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Review and monitor credit proposals of corporate customers before presentation for approval, while managing a team of over 10 experts.
Develop and maintain trustworthy and long term relationship with existing and new Corporate Clients portfolio;
Develop new business opportunities and consider further growth opportunities ensuring long term sustainability with the customers;
Plan, organize and manage the Corporate Banking department in order to maximize profitability and volume on its range of products and services.
Ensure that structures in place make good serve to the corporate client
Ensure compliance to corporate policies and procedures and implement and improve Credit policies and processes.
Keeps the relation and communication to other related sectors in the process analyzes such as Credit Risk Albania and Group Credit Risk.
Requirements:
University Degree/ Professional qualifications in Banking / Accountancy / Finance / Management are a must.
Over 5 years working experience in the related field is required for this position, preferably in managing medium to large business sector or relative experiences to successful customer relation management.
The perfect profile combines sound management experience with technical expertise and demonstrated commercial/business acumen.
Good knowledge of the local credit market is required
Experience in auditing (banking or non-banking), and risk assessment is considered an asset;
Very good knowledge of Business English
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
