Finance Manager (FM/C)

Holding this senior position, you will work in direct collaboration with the Hypermarket Manager, based in Albania, and the Finance and Legal Directors, based in Bulgaria. Your responsibilities will centre around the set-up and the efficient management of the overall finance performance of the local entity. In more details you would be expected to establish and introduce financial policies and procedures in compliance with the Group standards in view of ensuring correct execution and proper accounting of all payment processes to vendors and accurate cash flow management in the hypermarket. Being accountable for the comprehensive and timely tax reporting to the relevant authorities, you should ensure compliance with legal and tax framework. Further to that, you will supervise the preparation of statutory reports and be directly involved in the processes of budgeting, costs monitoring and KPIs reporting for management purposes (including long-term forecasting and liquidity planning). Advising senior management on financial resources, trends and operations results and making recommendations for improving the position of the company are also amongst the essential features of the role. Moreover, you will oversee the local government and all legal issues with the help of the local attorney office. Additionally you will be expected to supervise IT and procurement functions. You will also be the local point of contact for all Accounting, Finance, IT and Legal issues for external and internal stakeholders.

Other significant prerequisites for the role are:

· University degree in Accounting, Finance or similar relevant degree
· Ideally 5-6 years of experience as Finance/Accounting Manager and deep knowledge of local and international accounting standards, local tax and legal regulations, coupled with comprehensive understanding of the local business environment specifics
· Experience in an international company, preferably from the FMCG or retail sector
· Strong analytical skills and orientation to detail
· Proven people management experience
· Fluency in English and computer literacy (MS Office); French is welcome
