Our client is Carrefour, the largest retailer in Europe and the world’s second-largest one, with presence in 34 countries and generated sales of € 101 billion in 2010. It employs over 475,000 people globally and runs 15,500+ stores, both company-operated and franchised, in four main formats: hypermarkets, supermarkets, hard discount and convenience stores. Carrefour Group is currently expanding its activities on the Balkans, through its long lasting partnership with Marinopoulos group, with an operation in Albania and is looking for a dynamic self-starter for the position of:

Human Resources Manager(HRM/C)

Reporting to the Hypermarket Manager, based in Albania and the HR Director, based in Bulgaria, your primarily focus will be on building and leading the HR function of the company in alignment with the business needsand the functional guidelines. To achieve that you should set up and source the local headcount structure and establish all HR processes in the hypermarket according to Group standards and local specifics. You will also lead in a cost effective and business supportive way the overall activities of recruitment, placement, training, professional development of employees and implementation of personnel policies within the organisation. Other major responsibilities shall involve preparation and control of the general expenses and labour cost budget by regular monitoring and forecasting. Further to that you will administrate the employment relations as per the local legislation, ensuring and managing correct and timely personnel payments and observing the legal and software frameworks. Reporting on HR KPIs and advising senior management on the local market specifics would be expected by you on an ongoing basis.

Other important requirements for the position are:

· University degree in Human Resources Management, Economics or related
· Minimum 2-3 years HR experience and deep knowledge of the local legislation and labor market
· Experience in all aspects of HR – recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits, payroll and personnel administration
· Previous experience in mid-size company in an international environment
· Maturity to deal with confidential information
· Fluency in English and computer literacy (MS Office), French is welcome
