The ProCredit group comprises 21 financial institutions which focus on providing responsible banking services to very small, small and medium sized businesses in transition economies and developing countries. In addition we strive to develop a savings culture amongst private persons and to provide responsible and transparent banking services to those who live and work in the neighbourhoods in which we operate.
In order to strengthen our capacities in internal auditing, we are seeking to recruit a:
SENIOR AUDITOR
Your main responsibilities will consist of:
· Assisting the Head of Internal Audit in the execution of his/her functions;
· Leading process-based audit engagements in accordance with the annual audit plan and in compliance with the ProCredit Group Audit standards (identify, assess and report risks, propose solutions and monitor the implementation of agreed actions);
· Performing ad hoc engagements when requested;
· Developing risk-based audit programs;
Day-to-day monitoring of the progress made during the audit engagements and reporting to the Head of Internal Audit Department;
Reviewing the audit team members’ work on a daily basis in order to ensure the required quality, accuracy and objectivity; provide feedback, technical guidance and tutorials when necessary;
Ensuring that the work performed is clearly and completely documented in the relevant internal forms and work papers and adequately supports the conclusions drawn;
Drafting detailed and structured audit reports including findings, risk assessments and recommendations;
· Proposing and implementing tools for the optimization of the Internal Audit Department work.

University degree, preferably in Business Studies or Economics;
At least three years of relevant work experience, with at least two years of experience in auditing;
Proven ability to systematically and logically analyse information;
Willingness and ability to learn and to improve continuously;
Very good communication skills;
Proven ability to work in a team;
Good command of English language (spoken and written);
· Good command of MS Office.
