POSITION DESCRIPTION



Job title: Legal Adviser
Department: Legal Department
Reports to: CEO
Authorization: Management

Job Summary
The primary role of the legal adviser is to provide legal advice to the various company functions, in particular on issues involving the Albanian legislation, licensing and conformity with the telecommunications authority directives. It ensures that the company acquires all relevant licenses and permissions for operating in accordance with the legislation.
Duties and responsibilities


Providing professional support and advice to the Company Management as required.
Providing proactive legal assistance and advice on various legal issues related to:

ØTelecommunications legislation
ØEnsures compliance with labor-related obligations.
ØDrafts employment contracts.


Assisting the business in compliance with all various legal requirements.
Advising on minimal liability and legal exposure for the business.
Ensuring that the legal documents and other contractual documents are effectively drafted, reviewed, interpreted, and vetted.
Assessing and advising effectively to minimize and control risks to company and ensuring that the system, controls and processes are appropriate as relevant.
Advising and ensuring the business in compliance with the necessities of legislation involving data protection.
Supervising, researching and analyzing implication of case law, legislation, and regulatory matters that affect the company and reporting them back to the Head.
Legal advice to the company on corporate governance regulations and practices
Provides legal advice and/or drafts relevant contracts with company suppliers and with company clients.
Maintains appropriate documentation of shareholder and board decisions to ensure that they are carried-out within the company.
Prepares relevant claims, appeals, objections and other legal means related to operations of the company.
Represents the company before the judicial authorities.
To conduct Competition Appeal Tribunal appeals, judicial reviews, consumer enforcement actions.
To provide high quality litigation advice to project teams, colleagues and senior management on litigation issues, strategy and risk management in cases and projects.
To increase litigation awareness across the company by delivering training to colleagues and advising on risk management.


Educational Background:
Degree in Law or Law related courses
Master degree in Law

Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years of relative experience, in corporate law

§Exhibiting sound practical judgment.
§Ability to work as a member of multi-disciplinary team.
