Job Title: CHIEF ACCOUNTANT
Regency Casino Tirana, the only licensed live-game Casino in Albania and one of the biggest international companies operating in Tirana is looking for a Chief Accountant
An excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and creative individual to join and to make a valuable contribution to our business.
Key responsibilities will include:
1.To be fully acquainted with the accounting system, policies and procedures.
2.To be fully conversant with all aspects of the current Albanian taxation system with regards to sales tax, income tax, company tax, etc.
3.To ensure that the relevant support to a day’s transactions are complete and have been verified for review and signature.
4.To assist in the preparation of special statistical reports which may be required by management
5.To deputies for the Finance Director during his absence and therefore, to be fully acquainted with the job description in order to carry out those responsibilities.
6.To be thoroughly familiar with the duties and responsibilities of all the accounting employees under his supervision.
7.To assist in ensuring that an organized, up-to-date filing system is maintained for all pertinent financial records.
8.To handle all problems of the accounting office with the exception of those which have to be referred to the Director of Finance.
The applicant must at a minimum meet the following criteria
University Degree in Finance Accounting,
3+ year’s prior experience in similar position.
Experience in development of finance plans
Excellent organizational and project management skills
High levels of responsibility and communication
Excellent skills in both spoken and written English as well as PC Applications
