Financial Controller
Our Client, a group of companies operating successfully in the engineering sector, is looking for an energetic, well rounded team player to fill the Financial Controller vacancy.
Job Responsibilities:
Drive the delivery of monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash flow information in line with group deadlines;
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget plan, including expense and capital spending, inventory, staffing, cost reductions, restructuring, etc.
Audit, quantify, and analyze variances to plan and forecast;
Clearly communicate relevant financial and operational information to owners and executive management and implement timely action plans;
Evaluate existing financial processes, practices, controls and make recommendations on improvements;
Ensure that the company’s management principles, policies, and programs are consistently practiced;
Assume other special activities/assignments and responsibilities from time to time as may be required.
Work with external auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit of the business;transparent collaborative approach, timely provision of information;
prompt resolution of queries.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; MBA, MSc or any professional certification abroad a plus;
3-5 (hands-on) accounting or finance experience, of which at least two (2) years in IFRS reporting or as a Controller. Similar industry knowledge (engineering, telecom etc) is a strong advantage.
Self confident and able to provide constructive feedback/opinions on all business matters
Excellent proficiency with MS Excel; experience with an ERP system would be an asset
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
Able to work as a team with everyone in the company
Very good knowledge of English
