Our client is amongst the largest international retail chains of stores, operating 700 sales outlets with more than 12 000 employees on four continents. Following its rapid growth in the Balkan region, the company is in the process of opening its first store in Albania and is looking to expand its team with dynamic and proactive professionals for the positions of Marketing and Communication Specialist and Human Resources Specialist.

Marketing and Communication Specialist (Ref: MCS/DB)

Reporting to the Administrator of the Company (CEO), the incumbent will bear responsibility for coordinating all marketing-related activities in the store. Under the supervision of the Marketing Director in the company’s Headquarters, this professional’s specific tasks will include: working with local market research and analysis agencies; participating in the organization of and controlling all ATL/BTL campaigns; bearing responsibility for the brand identity of the store, applying and monitoring the compliance with corporate standards; participating in the development and maintenance of the company website and other communication channels with clients; cooperating with local advertising and design agencies and print houses for the design and distribution of the product catalogue and other promotional materials; following and analysing market trends and competitors’ activities; maintaining and regularly updating a market information database.

Prerequisites for success in the role are creative thinking, good written and oral communication abilities and multitasking skills. Other job requirements include:

· University degree in Marketing, PR or Economics
· Minimum 3 years of marketing experience, preferably in retail or an advertising company
· Strong teamwork skills

Human Resources Specialist (Ref: HRS/DB)

Reporting to the Administrator of the Company (CEO), this professional will be responsible for coordinating all HR related activities in the store under the guidance of the HR Director at the Headquarters abroad. Specific responsibilities include: administering employees’ personal files (including labour contracts and all other relevant documentation); managing the smooth execution of the payroll in full compliance with local legal requirements; bearing responsibility for the proper implementation of all Health and Safety procedures; liaising with government bodies on HR related issues; providing support to the management in carrying out recruitment, performance appraisal, training and development activities.

Successful performance of the job duties will call for sound knowledge of Albanian labour legislation, practice in relevant administration procedures and ability to work without close supervision. Other job requirements include:

· University degree in HR Management, Law or Economics
· At least two years of experience in the area of HR with focus on payroll and administration
· Strong communication and organisational skills

Both positions require:

· Good analytical and prioritization abilities
· Fluency in English
· Computer literacy
· International exposure would be considered an advantage
