Our client is amongst the largest international retail chains of stores, operating 700 sales outlets with more than 12 000 employees on four continents. Following its rapid growth in the Balkan region, the company is in the process of opening its first store in Albania and is looking to expand its team with a result-driven and team-oriented professional for the position of Sector Manager.
Reporting to the Store Manager, the incumbent will bear responsibility for the development and smooth operation of one of the sectors in the store in line with the local business strategy and market developments. To achieve that, it will be necessary to: develop and implement sector’s commercial policy and adapt the product mix to current market trends; manage the process of selecting and negotiating with local suppliers (in coordination with the Purchasing Division at the Headquarters abroad); apply and monitor the implementation of the pricing policy; control the sector’s supplies and inventory in line with the store budget; manage recruitment, training and development of the sector’s team.
Based: Tirana
Success in this role also requires excellent organizational abilities and proactive working attitude. Previous retail practice and international exposure would be considered an advantage. Other job requirements include:
· University degree
· Previous experience in a team-leading capacity
· Strong people management abilities
· Good negotiation and communication skills
· High level of responsibility and initiative
· Fluency in English
· Computer literacy
· Driving license
