Job profile


Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Reporting to: Chairman of the Board of Directors

Basic purpose: Manage and control the financial activity of the Group in Albania

Key tasks:



Bearing responsibility for the management of the overall financial and accounting function of the Group of companies in accordance with statutory and group requirements
Actively participating in the realisation of the short, middle and long term business strategy and budgets for the Group and serve as main contact for all accounting and financial issues concerning all companies
Overseeing the Group’s budget to meet its financial goals including cashflow monitoring and control, investment of funds, management of associated risks, etc.
Coordinating, supporting and controlling the planning and forecasting of the annual budgets of the Group companies and the general budget
Supervising the preparation of financial reports for the local authorities and the Board of Directors on revenue and expense and balance sheet variance analysis
Preparing and timely filing all necessary reports to ensure full compliance with government reporting requirements
Maintaining all required government permits in good standing
Developing and presenting financial policy recommendations to the Chairman of the Board
Acting as liaison for the annual external audit, Tax authorities and other public government agencies
Maintaining relations with banks and ensure external financing
Ensuring compliance with all appropriate financial and legislative regulations
Managing and developing the employees engaged in accounting and finance in the Group


Candidate Profile


General Requirements:



University degree in Finance, Business Administration or Management (Master’s degree, especially an MBA would be an advantage)
At least 10 years of working experience in Finance (five of which as Finance Manager)
Excellent leadership, organizational, coordination and analytical skills
Strong ability for written communication
Mature personality, willing to work independently and take responsibility
People management skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and local accounting software packages
Fluent English
