Network Engineer VOIP/Networking

Job Description
The applicant will be responsible for the configuration of IP networking devices such as cisco switches, testing ATA, IP Phones, others. He will also have tasks like monitoring and solve problems regarding IP Telephony platforms. The applicant will talk with vendors about system problems and other issues. Training will be provided on the selected applicant for the telephony platform.
Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Configuration of IP networking devices.
2. Diagnostic of problem with sniffing Software like Wireshark /ethereal
3. Monitor and give immediate solutions on problems regarding telephony platform
4. Monitor and give immediate solution on problems regarding telephony IP network.
5. Write proper documentation and prepare how to documents for 2 level support.
6. Able to get responsibilities and fullfill department plans.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science
Any certification in networking/telephony will be highly appreciated
Work Experience: 2-3 years experience in IP Networking, Programming, Linux
1 year of experience in IP Telephony (recommended but not a must)
(Telephony concepts regarding features, media and signaling are very preferable)
Personal skills:.
• Good organizing, communications skills.
• Able to prioritize tasks in order to achieve deadlines
• Skillful and willing to learn fast.
• Very good communication skills
• Able to work in a group
• Speaking and writing in English should be at minimum medium level.
