Albanian HR Solutions Ltd. is a company providing services in Executive Search, General Search & Recruitment, Career Management and Consulting based in Tirana (AL). For our partner in Qatar, we have started the selection process for the position:
Make-up Artist, salary $ 900
Role: The Make-up Artist is responsible for applying makeup and prosthetics to aesthetically enhance performers, individuals, entertainers for all FEC events.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Producing and sketching design ideas for hairstyles and make-up; ensuring continuity in hair and make-up and liaising with other members of the design team to ensure the overall look/effect is consistent and coherent.
Demonstrating and implementing a practical understanding of lighting, the photographic process, colors and the impact of special effects/make-up processes on the skin.
Ensuring that appropriate action is taken to minimize unpleasant side effects from the use of specialist make- up/hairdressing techniques
Maintaining awareness of health and safety issues.
Casting facial and body moulds and sculpting latex foam, known as prosthetics
Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of available make- up and beauty products
Sourcing, budgeting and ordering materials and equipment from specialist suppliers
Time management, knowing how long a subject will take to be made-up;
Working quickly and accurately in time-pressured conditions;
Assisting in the performance of other special duties and projects as needed in support of operational and organizational goals.
Required Education and Experience:
High-school diploma or any relevant course
Knowledge on cosmetology particularly on make-up, styling and prosthetics.
Knowledge on hairdressing, make-up artistry, creative/performing arts, graphic design/illustration, media studies, drama/theatre support services.
Superior knowledge of skin products
1 to 2 years of experience in a similar field.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, Ability to work under pressure
English language proficiency.
