Albanian HR Solutions Ltd. is a company providing services in Executive Search, General Search & Recruitment, Career Management and Consulting based in Tirana (AL). For our partner in Qatar, we have started the selection process for the position:
Head of Stage Artists, salary $ 1900
Role:The Stage Planner/Artists Specialist is responsible on planning and arranging artists’ schedules, contracting and communicating an all other artistic elements to ensure smooth and efficient show/event.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Determining the schedule of all rehearsals and performances in coordination with the Producer/Developer and making that sure everyone involved is notified of rehearsals and performances times, meetings, costume/wig fittings and coaching sessions.
Performing the following functions during rehearsals:
- Making sure rehearsal props and furnishings are available for the actors
- Coordinating the work of the stage crew during the stage set up.
- Notifying the decorators and other involved staff of changes made in rehearsal.
Communicating and securing performance of Sound and Light Ops during rehearsals and performances.
Ensuring smooth show production by monitoring the completion of the script and show checklists.
Calling cues and possibly actors' entrances during performance.
Checking on the impact of the show on the audience and communicating feedback and inputs to the Producer/Developer.
Assisting in the performance of other special duties and projects as needed in support of organizational goals..
Performance managing the staff, coaching/correcting behaviors and issuing disciplinary action as necessary.
Implement life & work balance and staff scheduling
Required Education and Experience:
Degree in Theatre Arts or similar discipline.
Stage and artists management
Knowledge on amusement and theme park entertainment and events is preferred.
4-5 years of experience in a similar field.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, effectively manage time and meet targets deadlines with limited supervision.
Ability to work with others in a team environment.
Good knowledge, with experience in using Microsoft Office.
English language proficiency.
Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate confidently, effectively and diplomatically.
