Job Description for the Web Designer:
Responsible for building and maintaining company’s websites using HTML, CSS, and Photoshop;
Be detail oriented, organized, able to multi-task ,and able to communicate effectively with their manager;
Assists with designing, maintaining and managing Internet websites, newsletters, postcards, brochures, posters;
Responsible for monitoring service request inbox and completing web maintenance tasks within deadlines;
Utilizes company-approved graphics software to create and edit graphics files, including animated gifs, to be used on Internet websites.
Qualifications of the Web Designer include:
Conceptualize and design materials creatively, accurately and on time;
Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, Microsoft Office suite of products, CorelDraw, Photoshop and AdobeAcrobat;
Should have Web page design sufficient to work on highly visible company web sites;
Any experience with JavaScript, Quark Express and Acrobat skills are preferred.
Personal Qualities and skills:
Have skills in software programming and graphics, creativity and imagination;
Be adaptable and able to pick up new techniques;
Work as a team member, work to tight deadlines and be able to multi-tasks;
Be able to use their initiative.
