2.Key responsibilities
The Network BSS/RAN Planning Engineer is primarily responsible for design and dimensioning planning for RAN network (BSCs, TCSMs, number of channel elements, Node-Bs, RNCs and respective interfaces) according to the coverage, capacity and quality requirements
Daily check and analysis of BSS/RNC performance.
Preparation of the WO for implementation, expansions and modifications
Following Installation, Commissioning, Integration and Acceptance Tests for new RAN element deployment.
Study of new SW releases and new RAN features. Following of the implementation on site of the new BSC/RNC SW releases and testing of them.
Coordination of stations split activities and BSC Re-homing.
Preparation of weekly/monthly status network report and KPI.
Maintenance of the floor plans of the switching rooms (update, collection of needs and space allocation)
Maintenance and update of DDF diagrams (database in the future). Update of BSS network and interconnections diagrams

University
Electronic Engineerin
Experience
At least one year of previous experience on Telecommunication area
PC Skills
Very good IT & Telco systems literacy and very good knowledge of English
Competencies/ soft skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Language skills
Excellent command of English Language, spoken and written
