POSITION REQUIRED: HOSTESS in the Restaurant
POSITION PURPOSE
To receive the guests in a courteous manner, accepting reservations and assistance with the service. To ensure a high degree of guest satisfaction through prompt, courteous and efficient service whilst operating to the established standards and goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Sells to guests the restaurant specialties and seasonal items.
Takes Guest Reservations in a helpful and organized manner.
Is well aware of the wine list and menu items by category, type and attribute in order to be able to sell/recommend/discuss them.
Greets guests in a friendly courteous manner.
Seat guests courteously and in a manner to satisfy their requirements.
Ensures that the service follows the established style.
Satisfies guest complaints and requests wherever possible.
Responsible that operational supplies and equipment are used properly and in good
condition.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education: High School
Language: Fluent English
