FBT Specialist
Duties
· Responsible for the operation and maintenance of systems and servers under the management of Fix Broadband Team;
· Operate, monitor and maintain AAA servers, DNS, PCRF Platform, SCE Platform servers
· Monitor and maintain MS SQL and MySQL databases;
· Upgrade or replace existing systems
· Automate routine tasks on systems
· Document configurations, procedures, and guidelines
Skills
· Detail oriented, highly organized, and creative problem solver;
· Strong skills on administration and maintenance of Linux systems preferably Red HAT, Fedora & Ubuntu
· Strong skills on administration, operation and maintenance of MSSQL and MySQL databases;
· Very good understanding of standard protocols like RADIUS, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, TR-069, SMTP;
· Good scripting skills, and good knowledge of bash scripting, php, perl, tcl;
· Good understanding of SOAP/REST webservices will be considered an advantage;
· Basic understanding of networking protocols;
· LPIC-1 or LPIC-2 Certifications are considered an advantage;
· Previous experience with LAMP stack, freeRADIUS, BIND-9 and Cisco applications or platforms like AR, SCE Platform will be considered an advantage;
· Very good communication skills;
· Very good English skills, able to accurately understand job related literature;
· Available to work overtime when necessary;
· Driving License – Preferable.
Experience
· Work experience in the respective field is an advantage.
Education
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Telecommunication.
· Master degree will be an advantage.
