SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER
Overall job definition:
The Java Developer at ikubINFO designs, plans and develops web based applications using java technologies, tools and frameworks; Analyzes technical requirements, plans tasks and sets priorities, develops according to standards and participates in testing, deploying, documenting and maintaining the solutions.
Being a very good team player with excellent communication skills and the willingness to learn and be dedicated to finding the best solution for the job at hand, complete the profile of the developer we are looking for.
Main responsibilities:
The senior software developer participates in the following activities as part of the Java development team:
Technical requirements analysis
Setting priorities on tasks and assignments
Testing and bug fixing
User and technical documentation preparation
Preparation of deliverables
Solution deployment
Solution maintenance
Requirements for the Candidate:
· University degree in computer science or similar
· At least 3 years of experience developing java web based applications
· Knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Development
· Knowledge of ORM concepts and frameworks (Hibernate/JPA)
· Knowledge of UML modeling (Class diagram, Activity Diagram, Sequence Diagram)
· Good/Working knowledge of one or more web development frameworks/technologies (JSF, Servlets/JSP, SpringMVC, Struts2 etc).
· Knowledge of JavaScript , AJAX/JQuery.
· Knowledge of Java EE technologies/concepts
· Knowledge of a Content Management Software Package will be considered a plus
Other skills
Ability to supervise and set work priorities for junior developers
Project management capabilities
Proactive participation in team meetings
Good presentation skills
