.NetSoftware DeveloperCommunication Progress is seeking a .Net Developer that will be part of a team developing software products that will be built using .Net technologies. The .Net Developer candidate must have technical background and experience on .Net development.
Duties and Responsibilities· Designs, develops, tests, implements and maintains solutions
· Performs source code/versioning management function adhering to technical management guidelines.
· Collaborates with project team(s) to define design and unit testing scenarios and scripts in alignment with business and system requirements.
· Leads cross functional application development activities to achieve project objectives.
· Contribute to and maintain a thorough understanding of application development standards, policies, and procedures.
· Ensures application development deliverables are completed on a time, budget, and quality.
· Researches and recommends appropriate application development best practices, and tools.
· Demonstrates strong leadership through team motivation, coaching, mentoring, and delegating.
· Collaborates with developers, QA testers and other stakeholders to deliver quality products
· Ensures that all items follow the change management process and are entered and tracked through the change management software.
Essential Qualifications· Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any other similar degree
· 1-3 years of previous programming experience in Microsoft related technologies
· Visual Studio 2012/2013, Team Foundation Server
· Web Forms and MVC pattern
· Microsoft SQL Server Database
· C#, T-SQL, Client Scripting Languages (jQuery, JavaScript, Ajax, JSON)
· Entity Framework
· N-tier architecture
· IIS Web servers
· Web Services, Web API
· Significant experience and mastery of Object Oriented Development and the related design pattern
· Good knowledge on design and implementation of web services (SOAP, REST)
· Microsoft software development certifications
· Experience working with project life cycle and project management methodologies highly appreciated.
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Ability to work in collaborative environments and meet deadlines
· Excellent abilities in spoken and written in English language
