International Commercial Bank (ICB) is operating in Albanian Banking Industry for more than 18 years with a qualified staff. It is a stable bank and is part of ICB Financial Group Holding AG. Presently, the bank is looking for a candidate to occupy the vacant position of "Legal Assistant", Tirana city. The contract will be bound for a period of one year. Job title: Legal Assistant
Reports to: Head of Legal Affairs
Location: Tirana, Albania
Contract: Bound for1 year
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Responsible for carrying out legal services under the guidance of Head of Legal, including drafting of contracts, preparing legal opinion, preparation of documentation and participation on Execution Order before courts and supervising of Bailiff Proceedings on execution process.
MAIN DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Prepare, proofread, verify and edit correspondence and materials for extreme clarity and accuracy
· Prepare documentation needed for issuing Execution Orders and represent the bank before the court; deposit requests and Law-Suit and withdraw court decision;
· Supervise bailiffs proceedings from depositing the request to the bailiff office up to execution of collaterals;
· Present the bank before the court on different Law court cases and ensure bank’s interest are protected;
· Apply in Mortgage Office whenever required;
· Other duties required within the framework of the Legal Unit;
CRITERIA FOR THIS JOB PROFILE:
· Holds a University degree in Law.
· Minimum 1 year of experience,
· Very good command of English language
· Very good command of Microsoft Package
· Very good verbal and written skills both in Albanian and English
· Very good time management skills and well organized
· Work as a team with colleagues and superiors
· Accurate and work with minimal supervision
