CCBS is looking for a potential candidate to fill the vacancy for:
IT SPECIALIST
Performs a variety of routine and technical computer work associated with information, communication, and other computer-based operating systems and applications.
Main responsibilities:
1. Set up and supervise the internal CCBS network in order to realize the connection within the CCBS and makes daily network maintenance.
2. Installs, maintains, and provides any necessary upgrades to various information and
communication systems, services, and network facilities as assigned.
3. Set up and supervise the internet connection.
4. Set up the conference calls and other technical support for others conference and training activities.
5. Open and close the e-mail accounts for comers and leavers
6. Provide support for palm system and give the technical assistance.
Skills and qualifications:
1. University Degree in Computer Sciences or Information Technology.
2. Three years of progressively responsible experience in an information technology environment, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. Working knowledge of information technology systems and networking theory, principles, and current practices and developments;
4. working knowledge of data applications and database support;
5. working knowledge of server and desktop operating systems, including Windows and Linux, and protocols, including TCP/IP, SMTP, and telnet;
6. working knowledge of the application and integration of audio, video, and related communication systems;
7. working knowledge of troubleshooting methodology;
8. Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing;
9. Ability to maintain assigned programs and systems; ability to troubleshoot assigned programs;
10. Ability to meet project deadlines and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and supervisors;
11. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
12. Knowledge of English and Italian.
