Job position: Treasury Manager
Reports: CFO of Balfin Group
Department: Finance
Location: Tirana
Duties and Responsabilities:
Understand, manage, and supervise all aspects of Group cash flows;
Forecast daily cash requirements and anticipate challenges arising from limited cash flows;
Manage all aspects of In-house investment portfolios;
Provide support in defining long-term and short-term investment strategies;
Review and recommend changes to the investment policies based on the market conditions;
Prepare and monitor Group company’s various cash flow forecasts and perform financial modeling;
Evaluate, develop and implement cash management systems to optimize efficiencies;
Understand and manage appropriate accounting procedures and processes;
Manage relationships with financial service providers;
Monitor bank service fees and address quality issues;
Evaluate alternative long-term borrowing strategies and make recommendations in accordance with the capital structure;
Recommend, implement and maintain process improvements;
Establish and maintain short-term credit availability, including revolving credit agreements and commercial paper programs, to provide liquidity for the Group;
Direct cash management for the Group including forecasting, collection, disbursement, investment of excess funds, short term borrowing and interest rate management;
Facilitate the Group’s relationships with commercial banks, credit rating agencies, payment service providers and lenders;
Develop everyday cash position report comprising of forecasting every week cash receipts plus disbursements;
Advice on, and supervise cash flows transactions between Group companies to optimize cash balances and needs;
Support to manage short-term investment balances along with interest recording;
Maintain correct estimate of cash balances;
Report on Group’s exposure to financial institutions, propose improvements and solutions regarding securities available;
Monitor strictly expiry dates and take actions in due time for renewals of financial instruments;
Support Group companies in dealing with commercial banks;
Supervise and manage all national and international cash balances efficiently;
Provide inputs and advice to Group companies. This could include recommending changes that will maximize revenue and profit;
Responsible for interest and debt analysis, with provision of relevant information and report;
Report and monitor specific payment arrangements between Group companies and third parties, follow ups on execution;
Responsible for following up on financial proceedings and ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor degree in Business or Finance required. Master’s degree in Business or Finance preferred.
- Work Experiences:
· At least 7-10 years of progressive experience in Accounting with a strong emphasis on the Treasury function;
· At least 2-3 years of management experience.
Requirements:
Knowledge of investment portfolio products, banking, and financial instrument;
Must have strong analytical/quantitative skills and experience with a multi-site organization;
Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills;
Experience in building complex financial models to evaluate various financial plans;
Experience in presenting and preparing proposals to recommend new products/services;
Experience in leading, coaching and developing staff;
Interested in process improvement;
Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills;
Excellent command of English language.
