WEB DEVELOPER M/F
SUMMARY
The selected candidate is responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact. The role involves listening to clients and understanding their needs before making design decisions.
Their designs are required for a huge variety of products and activities, such as websites, and displays, corporate communications and corporate identity. The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to timeand deadlines.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
A Web Developer's job may involve managing more than one design brief at a time and allocating the relevant amount of time according to the value of the job. Typical activities include:
Interpreting the business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose;
Estimating the time required to complete the work;
Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research;
Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts;
Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time;
Presenting finalized ideas and concepts;
Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work;
Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief;
Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches;
Solid understanding of AJAX, HTML5, Javascript, CSS3
Familiarity with source control systems
Proficient in the maintenance and administration of Drupal modules and sites.
Reference designs already developed
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors/Masters degree (preferably in Graphic Design, Computer Science or Information Systems) and software development/programming certifications;
Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software and Layout Skills;
Exceptional creativity and innovation;
Excellent time management and organizational skills;
Creativity, Flexibility, Accuracy and attention to detail;
An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment;
Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines;
Must be team-oriented and have excellent oral and written communication skill;
Demonstrated ability to solve moderate to complex application problems independently;
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
Efficient working and ability to learn
