We are now looking for motivated and passionate software testers to join our team in the position of Software Tester, Level Middle/Senior.
Overall job definition:
The software tester is involved in the quality assurance activities throughout the software development life cycle. He performs manual and automated functional and technical software testing to ensure that the software being developed meets predefined customer requirements and expectations, and play an important part in the verification and validation of the system.
Main responsibilities:
· Reviews and understands system requirements
· Assists/ Creates system testing plan
· Assists in the establishment of a test environment for project work
· Performs the unit, system and integration testing of the developed applications. This testing shall include inspection, demonstration, execution and analysis
· Performs performance, stress and scalability tests
· Maps requirements to test cases, ensures all entry and exit criteria are met and signed off, and ensures that all the requirements are mapped to test cases
· Documentation of problems, collects and analyses data, designs test scenarios and cases, builds test data, executes test, reports test results and maintains test tools and testing environment
· Manages automated test library, documents methods and processes for using test tools
· In addition designs, writes, tests and modifies test scripts, drivers and stubs for system and integration testing of applications
· Performs manual functional tests
· Finds and analyses bugs, provides objective feedback to software development team, following a predefined process
Required Competencies / Skills:
· University degree in computer science or similar
· Very good analytical skills, critical thinking capability, and eye for details
· Very good communication skills with team members and customer
· Capability to understand business processes
· Software development skills
· Knowledge of automated testing methodologies and tools
· Knowledge of IDEs for Java, .NET, mobile development
· Ability to work in multiple projects at the same time
· At least 3 years of experience in software development, experience in testing is preferable
