We are seeking to recruit: Systems Administration and Operation Specialist
Main Job Purpose
· Installation, administration and maintenance of all Bank servers hardware and software with the support of the external providers (where applicable).
· Installation, administration and maintenance of Windows servers software: Active Directory, domain controllers, DNS services, domain policies and user rights.
· Administration and maintenance of VMware Virtualization Solution.
· Installation, administration and maintenance of Electronic messaging systems.
· Administration and maintenance of Antivirus and other security solutions.
· Installation, administration and maintenance of File Servers / Storage Systems.
· Regular backups of Bank data (user/department folders/mail, etc..), safekeeping of backup media and periodical testing of their consistency.
· Installation, administration and maintenance of other servers of peripheral applications, in cooperation with other respective units of the IT Division.
· Review of event logs on servers for any eventual failure and follow up with necessary actions accordingly.
· Support for the Bank network development by planning and installation of the IT infrastructure in branches.
· Cooperation and coordination with other structures of the IT Division, aiming to the successful implementation of new/running IT projects.
· Any other duty and/or responsibility assigned by the head of the department.
The ideal Candidates should have:
– Extensive experience and knowledge with Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory and networks.
– Extensive experience and knowledge about computer hardware devices and network devices.
– Extensive experience and knowledge about E-Mail and Internet services.
– Experience and knowledge about Microsoft SQL DBMS.
– To have operational logic, be practical and careful, team spirit, good communication skills.
Criteria to be fulfilled:
– University degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.
– Minimum 4 years of experience in all related IT jobs
– Excellent English knowledge (written/oral)
