Position ScopeTo contribute and support Rogner’s vision of being and remaining the leading hotel in Albania in the hospitality industry. To drive the Food & Beverage Department while ensuring sustainable and profitable operations

Main Responsibilities


Manage, Supervise and Coordinate the operation of the food and beverage area
Be knowledgeable of all services and products offered by the hotel
Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all food & beverage products and services
Source the best available products, constantly aim to improve quality, communicate about the products both internally and externally
Coordinate with the Chef to ensure the awareness of seasonal and new products on the market
In accordance with related departments, develop strategies to increase food and beverage revenues, as the preparation of new menus (special ingredients), promotional activities, etc
Define and / or establish technical information and necessary instructions, for the pre-service process and the post service process in the food and beverage area
Monitor and constantly improve quality and guest satisfaction, and handle guest complaints in prompt and courteous manner
Oversee every service on food and beverage area (breakfast, lunch, dinner, lobby, banqueting, room service, bar) at least once a week
Maintain an active relationship with the Hotel Manager in regards to hotel’s Food & Beverage outlets and events
Ensure all departmental operations manuals are prepared and updated annually, and implemented accordingly
Ensure that all Outlet Managers are fully aware of market needs and trends and that their product and service meet the demands
Develop departmental trainers, assign training responsibilities. Ensure that each Outlet Manager plans and implements effective specific training programs.
Ensure compliance with all health and sanitation regulations / to meet the hygiene standards and monitor HACCP’s procedures accomplishment in all food and beverage operation
Provide a professional and well-mannered service at all times and ensure that all employees follow the example
Prepare a yearly marketing plan for the department in cooperation with the Sales & Marketing Department including a competitor analysis and a revision of region trends.


Candidate Profile


International experience in similar position in ***** star Hotels
Should have extensive experience of handling Restaurant & Banquet Operations
Creative and innovative, someone who is passionate about F&B.
Ability to lead a large team, motivate them, develop them
Very good people skills to manage team and guests alike
Self-motivated, result oriented
Good organizational skills, ability to structure him/herself.
Should have an expertise in Food & Beverage trends, Food & Beverage Service training, Handling restaurants and bar, Wine and beverage operations, Controls and inventory, Marketing strategy for Restaurants and Bar, Revenue generation, cost control
Fluency in English, (German and Italian languages are an advantage)
