The Agency is looking for her Client in Macedonia, an energetic person to work as a Bid Manager.

Job Summary:

* To Manage the creation of winning bids (RFI, ITT, RFP etc) and presentations in response to tender opportunities.
Bids will be for a range of clients covering Military, Commercial, Humanitarian, Oil & Gas and Mining and will cover services ranging from Construction, Catering, and Fuels to full O&M and Life Support Services.
The bids vary in size and complexity.
* The Bid Manager will be responsible for the creation of world-class bids and proposals; leading the bid strategy, design and delivery of proposals, presentations and other sales collateral that differentiate from the competition and inspire Ecolog’s clients.

Key Responsibilities / Duties
 Manage the creation of winning bids (RFI, ITT, RFP etc) and presentations in response to tender opportunities.
 Assemble a bid team with the relevant service / product / business knowledge required to win.
 Develop, in conjunction with SMEs, the strategic win themes and Operational Delivery Methods in support of new bids.
 Present briefs to Senior stakeholders in support of Bidding activities.
 Implement and enforce best bidding practices.
 Advise senior management on the potential risks, strengths and weaknesses of individual opportunities in addition to providing recommendations about the preferred operational delivery model.
 Ensure that a searchable bid database is maintained with quality content.  Ensure that bid submissions are visually distinctive.
 Drive the development of technical documentation to support the bids and challenge assumptions and proposed strategy to deliver the best possible offer from Ecolog.
 Manage the “promise” post-award by providing the tools for Operations to understand the proposed bid strategy and its articulation in day-to-day activities.
 Manage risk, compliance and governance aspects of bidding.  Manage the bid / proposal document / package through origination, development, formatting, production and delivery to client.

Required Qualifications
 Advanced English
 Minimum of 2 years experience in bid management.
 IT skills, preferably with experience of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop, but as a minimum competent in all MS Office programs.

  Preferably degree educated.
 Preferably undergone formal bid management / writing training, such as, Shipley APMP.
 Attention to detail and a desire to produce a quality bid document. 

 Ability to juggle multiple deadlines and significant amounts of information. 

 Ability to digest and understand complex RFPs and prepare clear plans of action. 

 Excellent bid writing and editing skills. Someone with a logical mind and ability to clearly present ideas and concepts in written form. 


 Self motivation,Good interpersonal and communication skills, Flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing requirements.
 Knowledge and understanding of pricing principles in a services environment.
 Ability to work effectively in a high pressure environment.  Enthusiastic and full of energy. 

 Flexible to travel in business trips; locations where Ecolog operates or pursues opportunities
 Most importantly needs to be able to see the funny side of stressful situations!
