HR department requires a Payroll Specialist & HR Assistant

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, assist in the administration of company programs, policies, procedures, benefits, recruiting and employee data management. Prepare biweekly hourly and salaried payroll and related reports.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparing and transmitting payroll
• Reviewing payroll, resolving problems, answering questions,
• Payroll related reports
• Maintaining and verifying Time & Attendance records and benefit accruals
• Maintaining data sources and producing miscellaneous reports
• Assist with recruiting by maintain Personnel and Applicant files and data
• Maintain employee training records
• Assist with new hire orientation and benefits enrollment process
• Issue ID badges, issue replacements as needed
• Other Projects and Duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Education:
• High School or equivalent required. Degree in business or Human Resources preferred

Experience:
• 2 years of experience in human resources and payroll
• Experience using social media such as Linked In for recruiting highly desired

Technical Abilities:
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel required.
• Knowledge of ADP Vantage HR and Payroll system would be helpful
• Excellent organizational and communications skills, ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
• Customer service attitude
