Job Title: Finance Manager


POSITION OVERVIEW:

Finance Manager is responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of company operations. Provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of the company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creates, coordinates, and evaluates the financial programs of the company to include budgeting, income, expenses, tax planning, and conservation of assets;
• Ensures compliance with local, state, budgetary reporting requirements;
• Reviews the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, controlling documents according to the position, department budgets, and registering and account maintenance and data entry;
• Coordinates the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports;
• Develops and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.
• Establishes and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards;
• Interacts with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses;
• Ensures records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards;
• Develops and directs the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems;
• Assist in obtaining the necessary licenses and insurance required to start a business.
• Analyses cash flow, cost and expenses control, and guides business leaders. Analyses financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas;
• Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures;
• Serve on planning and policy-making committees;
• Reviews financial management of foreign operations including financial development and budget policies and procedures;
• Leads the Department Organization structure.

DESIRED PROFILE:

• Minimum of 5 years working experience;
• University degree in Finance or Accounting;
• Experience in strategic planning and execution;
• Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management;
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Accepted Accounting Principles;
• Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems;
• Knowledge of state financial regulations. Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections;
• Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings;
• Work requires willingness to work within a flexible schedule;
• Result oriented;
• Decision-making skills;
• Motivation ;
• Excellent knowledge of English language.
