ikubINFO is now looking for motivated and passionate developers to join our team in the position of Junior Java Developer.
Overall job definition:
The junior Java developer at ikubINFO develops web based application using java technologies, tools and frameworks. Our developers code according to standards and participate in testing, deploying, documenting and maintaining the solutions.
Being a good team player with good communication skills and the willingness to learn and be dedicated to finding the best solution for the job at hand, complete the profile of the developer we are looking for.
Main responsibilities:
Participates in the following activities as part of the Java development team
Developing according to the assigned tasks
Testing and bug fixing
User and technical documentation preparation
Preparation of deliverables
Solution maintenance
Competencies / Skills:
• University degree in computer science or similar
• At least 6 months of work experience
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (specifically class/object and inheritance concepts)
• Knowledge of RDBMS (specifically Relational Model and SQL)
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and their application
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript and HTML Forms
• Knowledge of Servlets/JSP or JSF
• Basic Knowledge of one well known web development framework/technology (JSF, Servlets/JSP, SpringMVC, Struts2 etc.)
• Basic knowledge of ORM concepts and frameworks (Hibernate/JPA)
