We are looking to hire Senior Finance reporting & Controlling Officer for our Finance department. She / he will report directly to Finance Director of the Company
Purpose of the position:
Mange Finance Controlling & Reporting activities under the supervision of Finance Director
Main activities include:
• Under supervision of Finance Director participate in the preparation of the Monthly and Annual budget of the company.
• Monitor Budget realization and prepare analyses of differences and explanations. Active participation on budged preparation and analyses
• Responsible for the inventory process of the company. review and control of monthly physical inventory counts
• Monitor the AR/ AP ageing and prepare frequent analyses to be presented to Finance Director
• Prepare monthly reporting packages designed from Finance Director and take proactive action to design and implement reporting structure/ controls in the company
• Prepare and control reporting regarding different areas of the Company activity ( Cost management , administrative expenses management , ect
• Initiate audit and control of other structures based on Finance Director/ GM instruction
• Perform different analyses on the profitability of the Company or specific areas of the Company activity. ( Relationship with Suppliers , Clients , distribution channels , other )
• Responsible for the control and management of physical inventory of Fixed assets of the company
• Responsible for building internal controls process in close relationship with finance Director
• Perform audit activities whenever is needed or instructed from the management of the Company
• Actively participate in internal policies / manuals /procedures of the company
• Manage the staff under his/her supervision during the everyday work for the preparation of Financial Statistics and results
• Other as per Company needs
Requirement of the Position:
• University Degree ( Accounting/ Finance )
• At least 3 year of experience in Accounting & reporting ( previous experiences in Distribution Sector / Warehouse bookkeeping will be an advantage )
• Good knowledge of English language (Knowledge of Greek Language will be an advantage )
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package
• Very good knowledge of F5 Accounting Program
• Very good communication and negotiating skills
• Knowledge on an ERP system will be an advantage
• Energetic and team work oriented
• Availability to work overtime when needed
