We are looking to hire Warehouse ACCOUNTING Officer for our Accounting department. She / he will report directly to Senior Warehouse Accounting Officer and Accounting Manager of the Company
Purpose of the position:
Manage all financial transactions executed from the Warehouse
Main activities include:
• Process warehouse daily activities performed in the warehouse he/ she is responsible for
• Prepare and print documents related to Goods Issue , Orders , invoices and other as needed from daily activity
• Monitor all activities happening on the warehouse and work in close relationship with Warehouse Keeper to assure proper activities
• Responsible for all the booking of transactions in accounting System
• Control the activity of Goods Movements. return from Sales , expired products ect.
• Prepare and book all the transactions related to promotional products , group of products and other similar activities
• Monitor the stock frequently to avoid mismatches between physical quantities and accounting quantities
• Responsible to control and report correct invoicing of clients under correct terms agreed. work in close relationship with Sales Accountant to control the right pricing applied for any client
• Responsible to prepare Physical inventory counting lists frequently as requested from the Management of the Company
• Responsible for the control of normal processing of Orders and management of stock. Work in close relationship with Sales Analyst to manage the Sales Orders , promotions , removal of expiring products ect .
• Monitor and control of all activities of Warehouse Keeper in order to assure proper booking of transactions. Give support to Warehouse keeper by informing him on a daily bases for all the transactions done in the warehouse and give proactive support to reconcile the physical cash with accounting figures
• Actively participate in the implementation of the ERP system that is currently under implementation from the Company
• Other as per Company needs


Requirement of the Position:
• University Degree ( Accounting/ Finance )
• At least 1 year of experience in Accounting ( previous experiences in Distribution Sector / Warehouse bookkeeping will be an advantage )
• Good knowledge of English language (Knowledge of Greek Language will be an advantage )
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package
• Very good knowledge of F5 Accounting Program
• Very good communication and negotiating skills
• Knowledge on an ERP system will be an advantage
• Energetic and team work oriented
• Availability to work overtime when needed
